Gateway’s Needy Animals rescue and shelter is located in Pine Bluffs, WY. We are currently awaiting final paperwork on our 501(3)c from the Internal Revenue Service and have applied for grants from Laramie County, the State of Wyoming, and others to facilitate the acquisition of a new building and other needed items to allow us to offer better service for our area.
Gateway’s currently operates out of volunteers’ homes, houses animals in cooperation with our friends at Litl’ Bit of Love in Carpenter, WY.
Gateway’s Needy Animals is a fully papered charity corporation in the State of Wyoming. Our Board of Directors consists of three corporate officers:
- Becky Martinez, President
- Rebecca Brayton, Vice President
- Maureen Crea, Secretary-Treasurer
In addition, our other volunteer staff includes Aaron Turpen, Director of Operations.
Several businesses in Pine Bluffs support the efforts of Gateway’s Needy Animals including the Dollar Store on Main Street and the Bluff’s Veterinary Clinic on Highway 30. We also acknowledge the kindness of the United Methodist Church in Pine Bluffs for offering facilities for meetings and events.
